Aerospace Grade Constructed From Aramid Fiber Honeycomb Sheet Material Coated Phenolic Resin is a kind of phenolic resin impregnated honeycomb structure, it is an ideal core material, especially suitable for the structure with high intensity and light weight.Aramid paper honeycomb with dupont Nomex ® paper as raw materials, it is produced by coating, folding, expanding and wetting-out. Aramid honeycomb core is a lightweight, hexagonal cell structure made from aramid paper (e.g., DuPont™ Nomex® or Kevlar®) impregnated with heat-resistant phenolic resin, then expanded and cured. It is widely used in spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, and aircraft as the core material of sandwich structures, providing extremely high specific strength and impact resistance.
